Remote Without Keys - a Fantastic Resolution for Opening Your Automobile From Yards Away
A great solution to having to open your car door by hand during rough weather or when your arms are full is the remote without keys. With one push of a switch you can have your car unlocked or locked without having to mess with your keys. There’s also an additional benefit that most remotes come with - a panic switch that will sound an alarm from your car if you push the button. This makes the remote without keys for cars not only a convenience item but moreover a safety device too.
There’s an issue innate in the remote without keys, though, and that is that it typically can't stand up to the wear that keys go through on a key chain. It can easily split open with quite little force and make the remote worthless. Depending on the type of cars you have, the switches can also be very flimsy and break too quickly. As a testament to the weak nature of the item, I’ve seen a teething child break a remote after no more than five minutes of gnawing on it. If I may make one suggestion to improve the remote without keys for some cars, it would be to make it more tough. Considering what a typical key undergoes in its lifetime, a remote that is subject to the same kind of abuse should be constructed just as strong.
A functional issue with the remote without keys is that sometimes the switches are too easy to activate. For example, if you place your keys inside your pocket, then put any pressure at all on the remote, your car may begin to open or lock itself if you are in range of it. You can set off the panic button from the house just by sitting down the right way and if this happens late in the night, your neighbors might not be pleased with you and attempt to seek revenge for their interrupted sleep.
Overall the remote without keys is a fantastic new characteristic of contemporary motor vehicles. They give a convenience that wasn't around years ago when folks had to hunt for the key and then insert it in to the lock before getting in to the car. Unfortunately, until keyless remotes are put together with more attention to durability, they will have to be replaced from time to time. The amount of time a remote will last depends on how well it is constructed and how much pressure you put on the gadget during your everyday life.
