Video Tracking

Video Tracking

$120

Video Tracking provides a comprehensive treatment of the fundamental aspects of algorithm and application development for the task of estimating, over time, the position of objects of interest seen through cameras. Starting from the general problem definition and a review of existing and emerging video tracking applications, the book discusses popular methods, such as those based on correlation and gradient-descent. Using practical examples, the reader is introduced to the advantages and limitations of deterministic approaches, and is then guided toward more advanced video tracking solutions, such as those based on the Bayes’ recursive framework and on Random Finite Sets. Key features: Discusses the design choices and implementation issues required to turn the underlying mathematical models into a real-world effective tracking systems. Provides block diagrams and simil-code implementation of the algorithms. Reviews methods to evaluate the performance of video trackers – this is identified as a major problem by end-users. The book aims to help researchers and practitioners develop techniques and solutions based on the potential of video tracking applications. The design methodologies discussed throughout the book provide guidelines for developers in the industry working on vision-based applications. The book may also serve as a reference for engineering and computer science graduate students involved in vision, robotics, human-computer interaction, smart environments and virtual reality programmes

Cooling Dog Beds For A Cool Wave All Year Long

Do you live in one of those places where it is hot all year long? Or are you seeing that the coming summer will be a hot one? Well, you should definitely know that the heat of the sun affects dogs in such a way that it does not affect the humans. With too much heat that the senses of the dogs can sense, dog may be affected at large and may be affected by heat stroke and skin problems and this is not what you want for your large dog right?
If you want to protect your large dog, then you should know that there are Cooling Dog Beds that you can use for you to make sure that you have the best of the best of your dog even during the summer or even during a long hot day . With that, here are some of the selection of cooling dog beds that will work wonders with you and your pet dog.
The selection of Cooling Dog Beds comes in three main sizes: the cooling large dog beds, the cooling medium dog beds and the cooling small dog beds. These categories and these selections of cooling dog beds have been made to make sure that they will fit any dog at any size and at any time during a hot weather.
Hence, you should probably buy a cooling dog bed based on the size and the quantity of your dogs. If you have a small dog breed and you only have one, the small cooling dog bed is the best for them. If you have a large amount of small dog breeds then you should probably consider buying the large cooling dog beds instead. Always keep in mind that your dog will only be cooled enough by the cooling dog bed if you buy the right size for them.
Finally, you should always keep in mind that Cooling Dog Beds can be used both indoors and outdoors and it is up to you to figure out where it works best. You can use it for your pet dog when you go out on the park so that your dog breed will stay cool as your children play. You can also put it in your home where it is hot to make sure that your dog knows where to keep cool when it has to. Placing is very important to keep the function of cooling dog beds.

A micro-Doppler sonar for acoustic surveillance in sensor networks.

A micro-Doppler sonar for acoustic surveillance in sensor networks.

$49.99

Wireless sensor networks have been employed in a wide variety of applications, despite the limited energy and communication resources at each sensor node. Low power custom VLSI chips implementing passive acoustic sensing algorithms have been successfully integrated into an acoustic surveillance unit and demonstrated for detection and location of sound sources. In this dissertation, I explore active and passive acoustic sensing techniques, signal processing and classification algorithms for detection and classification in a multinodal sensor network environment. I will present the design and characterization of a continuous-wave micro-Doppler sonar to image objects with articulated moving components. As an example application for this system, we use it to image gaits of humans and four-legged animals. I will present the micro-Doppler gait signatures of a walking person, a dog and a horse. I will discuss the resolution and range of this micro-Doppler sonar and use experimental results to support the theoretical analyses. In order to reduce the data rate and make the system amenable to wireless sensor networks, I will present a second micro-Doppler sonar that uses bandpass sampling for data acquisition. Speech recognition algorithms are explored for biometric identifications from one's gait, and I will present and compare the classification performance of the two systems. The acoustic micro-Doppler sonar design and biometric identification results are the first in the field as the previous work used either video camera or microwave technology. I will also review bearing estimation algorithms and present results of applying these algorithms for bearing estimation and tracking of moving vehicles. Another major source of the power consumption at each sensor node is the wireless interface. To address the need of low power communications in a wireless sensor network, I will also discuss the design and implementation of ultra wideband transmitters in a three
